Frequently Asked Questions About the Fly-In

Shipping Information

If you have too much stuff, or want a little more room in the airplane, you can ship your items to:

Cessna 150-152 Fly-In
Clinton Municipal Airport
2000 S 60th St.
Clinton IA 52732

Mark the package with your name and tail number.

The FBO manager will set your package aside in a secure area and it will be waiting for your arrival.

If you want your stuff shipped back to you after the fly-in, prepay the shipping and include the return shipping label in your package. After the fly-in, re-pack the box, put the return label on, and we’ll have the shipper pick it up.

Is membership in the Cessna 150-152 Club required to attend the Fly-In?

Oh absolutely not. Membership in the Cessna 150-152 Club is not required, however, the Club is an excellent source of information regarding Cessna 150s and 152s. The Club Forum is also an excellent source of information about the Fly-In and a great way to communicate with other members regarding travel plans and caravans to Clinton.

How do I register?

Online Registration OPENS on January 1st and closes on the Sunday prior to the start of the Fly-In.

When we’re open, click on the Registration tab on the Fly-In Registration page. It will take you to the
Registration form. Fill out the form, press the button, and you all set. After you register, you will be
directed to our online store where you can pre-pay for your Registration, the nightly Dinners, the
Banquet, and you can order and pay for our Fly-In T-Shirts.

Do I have to Register?

No, you don’t have to. You can fly in and register when you arrive at Clinton, but we really need to know how many are coming for planning purposes, so we ask that you register online.

Also we only make enough T-Shirts to cover the pre-orders, plus a very few extra. If you really want a T-Shirt you should pre-order one to guarantee it will be available.

What’s the dress code?

Dress code? We ain’t got no stinkin dress code.

The average temperature in Clinton for the Fly-In is 83°, with about 60% humidity. Some years run hotter, some cooler. We also average a thunderstorm or two during the week.

Shorts and t-shirts are most sensible. Don’t forget the hat and sunscreen.

Do you have a loud Hawaiian shirt? Bring it along; you’ll look great at the Luau.

What’s the cost?

Registration fees are $43 per airplane and $43 per person. Passengers under 16 are only $1

Registration fees include admission, aircraft tie-down, camping under the wing, transportation to and from town, and all Fly-In events. Meals and lodging are not included.
